To access this help file requires a separate download from Microsoft, see KB:917607 for further information.
3.2 Known Issues
3.2.1 GetOperatingHours
The GetOperatingHours method in the ActiveX is no longer available, it is replaced by GetOperatingHoursString. This will require all previously written software to be modified and re compiled if this method was used. GetOperatingHoursString method has the following syntax:
Result = xVega.GetOperatingHoursString(UnitID,Hours)
where:
UnitID is the ID number of the unit in question
Hours returns a String containing the decimal number of hours the unit has operated for.
Result returns "CMD_OK" if the command was successful, "CMD_ERROR" if there was an error or "CMD_NORESPONSE" if there was no response from the unit.
